Hey all you So You Think You Can Dance fans! Great news- Ovation TV is re-airing past seasons! In case you missed it, Season 7 featured the incredible Melinda Sullivan (who is one of Tap’s leading ladies) in the top 10. Watch her journey and her amazing Tap skills as she fights for her spot on the show. It’s one of the few times a Tap dancer has been featured on SYTYCD and Melinda does a great job of representing the Tap community. Be sure to watch “So You Think You Can Dance” tonight, July 14th at 8pm on FOX to see Jason Samuels Smith’s company Anyone Can Get It (A.C.G.I.)! Performers include Jason Samuels Smith, Chloe Arnold, Melinda Sullivan, Sarah Reich, Baakari Wilder and Lee Howard! It’s going to be sick! Yeay for Nigel for having Tap represented even though Nick Young was sent home a few weeks ago. Can’t wait to see what goes down!

SYTYCD Season 8 Tap!

Just in case you missed it last night when the Top 20 were revealed on So You Think You Can Dance, Nick (the sole Tap dancer) and Jesse (the lone Broadway dancer) performed a Tap routine choreographed by the amazing Christopher Scott. AND, in case you weren’t listening, there are 4 girls in the Top 20 who can also Tap! That’s the most Tap dancers EVER on the show. This is going to be one incredible season. Way to get Tap on the Map!
