Road Map

Ok Tap Co. Here is the road map for “Accapella”. This might not be exact, but it’s a start! If I missed something please post the correct version (you all know how I am!) Hopefully you all remember what groups you are in after the opening… we will set it next week and I will add your names in to this post. Remember I will be video taping next week so bring your camera if you want a copy to practice with or need any steps broken down.

Group 1 cannon: Danielle, Taylor, Karen, Chelsea
Group 2: Steph, Sam, and Sammi
Group 3: Ellie and Amanda
After group 3 finishes 4th step-heel, step-heel, step-heel stamp THE ENTIRE GROUP repeats 3 bars of step-heel finishing the 4th bar with shave-and-a-haircut break.

“Accapella” Video

Hey all,

As promised, here is a quick video of “Accapella” that we have been working on. Use it to practice the rhythm of that last step. Don’t worry if you can’t get it right now, I’ll break down that part when we come back from break.

Also, here is one example of the Hoofer’s Line from the Broadway show “Black and Blue” which featured some of the best Tap dancers around.
